One of our most important goals is to give back to the community that supports us. We offer Aquatic healing classes at the Madras Aquatic Center, provide clinics to learn healthy habits with stretching and exercise, provide athletic training support to our schools, and sponsor local events here in Jefferson County. Join the Apex Challenge: July update!

On Saturday, June 25th, nine motivated hikers met in Sisters at 8 a.m. to head for the summit of Black Butte. It was a beautiful morning with clear skies and a comfortable temperature of 58 degrees. We caravanned to the trailhead on 5 miles of bumpy dirt roads once turning onto the access road to Black Butte trailhead. After a short talk about what to expect from the hike and making sure everyone was prepared, we started heading up the trail just after 9 am. Take on the APEX Physical Therapy Summit Challenge 2016! The goal of the challenge is to encourage exploration of our beautiful Central Oregon Peaks, make new friends, have fun, and be fit! Whether you are a novice or an expert, you can participate. The challenge is to climb 4 peaks in 4 months ending with the South Sister Summit in September.
