How long will my visits take?
Your first visit will range from 1-1.5 hours to establish a thorough evaluation and provide treatment. Subsequent visits will average 60 minutes in duration.
What are the benefits of physical therapy?
Physical therapists are the experts of the musculoskeletal system and movement. Physical therapy can aide in the reduction of pain, improve motion, improve function, increase strength, improve knowledge of your current condition and learn how to aid in the treatment and the recovery.
Is a prescription required?
In the state of Oregon, patients can seek physical therapy directly without a prescription for up to a period of 60 calendar days. The physical therapist will perform the evaluation and send a copy to your primary care physician at your request. Most insurance companies do require a prescription in order to be billed for physical therapy, our staff will be happy to call and help you determine if a prescription is required.
